Folks-
this morning i watched the one show that I eagerly await each year, namely the Ebert and Roeper WORST FILMS OF THE YEAR show. For those of you who missed it here are both of their lists; no real surprises here but it is interesting to note that four films made it to both lists and the people I know who saw those films resoundingly agreed with the verdicts found here.
And I don't care what Richard Roeper says, CHARLIE'S ANGELS: FULL THROTTLE may be wicked stupid but it was mindlessly fun and had a bunch of hot chicks running around in skimpy outfits kicking ass! Anyway, rather than recount the plots of these cinematic Chrenobyls I direct you to imdb.com and urge you to check out the user comments.

So I guess getting a poke in the eye with a sharp stick is better than a poke in the eye with a dull stick?

Those kinds of movies appeal to those who want to get a visual adrenaline rush.  Big fat hairy deal.

I like these lists.  I never saw any of these movies and I'm glad I didn't waste my money.

I heard really bad things about gigli. Iactually was going to see the movie and I was standing at the register getting junk and I seen people(a lot) leaving out the theater saying it suck @ss, and the movie wasn't even done yet. so I went and got  my refund for the ticket and took all my junk food home and finish watching the last three dvd's to gto. i wonder why it took so long for a sequel to bad boys, well it didn't matter to me because i haven't seen it and since i'm hearing it sucks, i don't want to see it.

I see nothing wrong with a big loud popcorn movie and thats what BadBoys2 is. Also why isnt Justin and Kelly and Gigli on BOTH of their lists?? I'm sorry but there's no reason they shouldn't be.

I swear things just havent been right since siskel passed away. :?

Well, my only list consists of actors...

Anything with the Rock in it. Though, it is funny watching him attempt to form a sentance.

But, 2Fast2Furious should have been one on the Wrech fest:

Bad Boyz2~ without a doubt.

Biker Boyz~ more like road kill. Fishburn should be called Fishbait after this one.....

L.O.E.G~ As much as I like Sean Connery, I have to admit, he was part of one of the worst films since Ishtar...

Unlike the rest of the world, the final Matrix movie took the series rocketing into the Bit Bucket..... Huge Dissapointment.

Well, there's my rant.

Vin Diesel's no rocket scientist either... he made some disaster of a movie that I saw, but was so traumatized, that I can't remember the name...

Have they published their Top 10 FAVORITE list? Critics like these always seem so negative...

I'm not sure if Ebert & Roeper come out with a TOP 10 list but these lists are because the Academy of Motion Pictures is doing their Oscar work right now and all the members of the Academy are being polled for their picks.  The Golden Globe's nominees have been announced and the Oscars sometimes follow how those awards are given.

Besides, it's fun to laugh at the truly, amazingly, lousy movies that are released every year.

Technically The At the Movies "Best of" list would probably be best discribed as their annual "if we picked the oscars" episodes.

I suppose the fact that even their worse liked movies occasionally still break 40 million dollars means that the best they can do is say "If you saw these movies, SHAME ONE YOU for not listening to us."

The only movie I saw out of those is Dumb and Dumberer. I regret for ever seeing that trash. It ruined the first movie which was awesome. They say they weren't looking for actors that looked like or acted like Harry and Lloyd, yeahhh right. Anyway, it was a free rental.
