Well, to start things off, HLJ has the new Tellus kit up for pre-order, and some pretty nice pics of what appears to be a final version of the kit moulded in all the proper colors.

Also, for anyone who wasn't aware, the CR-C840 has just been released:

It surprised me that even Kotobukiya got the name of that kit wrong...  I mean, it's a simple enough mistake, zero instead of "O", but still...

The arms and legs of the new C-84 kit don't do a lot for me in some ways - but I love the Overboost gimmick of the C-84, and the head's pretty spiffy, too.  (I was pretty happy when the C75 came out - not only because it was a design I really wanted in kit form, but because they were finally releasing an OB core.  I feel like the design of C84's OB is actually better, though...)  I can't wait for the new kit to arrive...

I don't exactly 'love' the design of the CR-C840 kit. It's fairly plain... and it's a rather skinny little bastard.

But I love the release of the kit all the same, because it's part of the 'AC3 intro set'. Which I've talked about before. I am beyond happy to be able to have kits of all 4 ACs from that terrific CG intro.

As for the Tellus... oh my god. It's awesome. And I'm particularly interested in the kit because I used the Tellus set up to play all of AC4. Didn't do much but swap out weapons and some internal components throughout the course of the game. Unfortunately, reproducing my custom paint scheme from the game on the kit would be beyond insanely hard...

Right now, I'm really looking forward to seeing what other AC4 designs they will release.

Still waiting on a nice Nine Breaker too...

Yeah, that's kind of what's behind my reaction to the arms and legs on that kit.  Plain and skinny.  I like the design of the core itself a lot more.

So you gonna do a diorama with the C84 getting its head and arm blown off by the Selena, then?  :)

Well, that's my dream, more or less...

I dunno if I'd do a diorama with all 4 together, or 2 dioramas with the 2 pairs facing off against each other seperately.

Either way, it's a long way off, since I don't currently have sufficient space to build and display dioramas of that size.

I'd love to see someone do it though. Maybe something like it will show up in one of the hobby mags.

Other than perhaps the Vixen... are there any Kotobukiya ACs that aren't worth buying?

But yes... Tellus... looks great... me wants...

And can't forget the awesome looking Uranus AC, which is due out next month.

Who designs the AC4 cores, btw? It does not look like Kawamori, but I see a resemblance to the Murakumo machines.

Mmmmm, liking the Tellus.  I'm waiting for them to make more AC4 kits so I can make at least one of my AC4 designs in plastic form.  =)

Yeah, the Tellus is really something. Looks like they did a nice job turning it into a model. It looks alot beefier than in the game though?

Not that I care. Beefy = good.

However, I'm still waiting for some quad-legger or bird-feeted AC.  :)

Just got my first Armored Core kit today and started to snap it together. It was fun playing around with it, can't wait to get some of the weapon sets so I can customize it!

Hmmmm...I have always been a fan of the AC series. Yet whenever I see the products those companies produce, it just turn me off.  <_<
