That is a very serious link indeed.

I'm thinking of copying the tutorial pages out of some of the zines. If I do this I will probably figure out a way to share the fruits of my labors with others.

Is Picaloader still a good program for automating the copying of images from sites? Do people know of other such task-automating software that is functional and free?

the way i d/l these images:
1. you'll need flashget (which i believe it's a freeware now)
2. go http://163.zpoo.com/
3. paste in username of the album(in this case "kunluinlmodel")
4. this will give you a series of links to each of the different albums, and if you click on these it will give you all the addresses of the photos
5. select all these links and right click to find the flashget menu (should appear after you install it, either on i.e. or ff)
6. select the option "flashget all" (or something along that line)
7. make sure to set the number of connection to 1 (default being 5) otherwise it would not download
8. easy way to set the number of connection to 1 is choose "manual download" instead of "automatic", then select all the links added to flashget, right click and go to properties to change number of connection to 1, and just start

it should work but just remember the order of the pictures will be scrambled, so if you want to read them in order, just use ACDSee or any other photo viewing programs and arrange the photo using "last modified date" and just rename them, hope this helps

btw there are a few other albums athat i stumbled upon if you guys are interested
not sure if i can share them here...so i'll remove them if necessary

??  I do not need special programs to save the images to my hard disk, I always use the option 'save picture as' (in IE)

Right, but they're talking about ways to get all the images, not just one.  You can of course go through all those images, download them one by one manually, but you could also use a program that can do the job automatically.

(although one by one is easy if you don't need everything, the thumbnails are helpfull to see what's on a page)

sorry my bad i should have specified more clearly..
what you say may be true..
but sometimes these sites can take a long time to load a single image
which is why i just d/l everything and delete anything i don't want
i lack the patience for the long load times lol

Haha, I'd download them myself but my bandwidth is moderately destroyed at the moment so I can do it eventually but I'd have to wait a week or so, so I'd really appreciate it if one of you guys who are downloading it could help us out.

Basically as many HJ and DHs as you would be willing to post.  I used to get them monthly but stopped due to space constraints and have really been missing them, haha.

btw the dh is not the japanese version..it's the chinese version
