Yep, it's pretty huge. Better pics: http://neweva.blog10...entry-3178.html

Personally I don't like it that much since it looks like a Revoltech with the joints puttied over. While Katsuhisa Yamaguchi's style works for lots of things, I've grown way too fond of Takeshi Honda's movie style.

The idea of the little Kotoboukiya kits is starting to grow on me, my biggest complaint about them is the fact that they're, well... Little. I had my eye on the Medicom EVAs for a while as I think that they have nice proportions (just a slight edge over the 1/400 Koto kits) but the idea of the rubber undersuit makes me cringe. Stuff like that almost never holds up well over time.

That doesn't look too bad and it doesn't have that rounded belly armour look from the movies

Does anyone here have links to any finished builds of the Technique Impossible kits?  Or did they truly live up to their name and no one ever finish them...

I have extremely low expectations for it after the last Appleseed movie.

Low expectations are what prevents disappointment. Still pretty meh. I just don't think Aramaki's style is suitable for Eva.

Agreed. It was fine, though, I guess. Not very memorable. Reminds me of Planzet. Oh well. I suppose it can be used as a sort of high-concept trailer for the new movie.

There are still high-profile merchandise items popping up: Here's the AAA Wunder in Wave's WHAM toy line:
