My latest resin kit, a Silicon-Tribe STURMDIAS. (aka Schuzrum Dias) - This is my third full resin kit, the first being the Qubeley and second a figure kit currently on the E2046 competion. (The Sinanju option parts don't cont
The kit is based on the Rick Dias design (that appeared in the Renaissance of Zeta special in the Newtype magazine I think) from Mamoru Nagano.
As usual for Silicon Tribe the kit is LOADED with details, even in places that are impossible to see once the kit is assembled. Also as usual for ST the kit is a pain in the butt to assemble and pin (even thou much easier than then Qubeley), but more on that later on.
The kit comes with a hefty 187 parts.
I'll also writing a WIP on my blog

I try to not copy and paste each post from there to here or other way round, so if you are hyper eager to read about my humble attempts to build the Dias you can check there too (i also has bigger pics)
All the parts:

If you have any idea what this part could be used for, please speak up. I have no idea. lol

Using neodym magnets for some parts:

cool stuff

Also using Yellow Submarine/Hobby Base (the good stuff) joints in some places - the kit doesn't really for any sorts of posing, but it makes my life much easier compared to pinning a free pose kit into a symetrical pose with good weight distribution and stuff.

Current state of affairs:

As for paint, I am planning to go with the classic Rick Dias / Sturm Dias red/black scheme as seen on the TV show (as opposed to the all red Nagano color scheme). Thou I'll probably make the rear tower boosters darkisch/black instead of red, but nothing is set in stone yet.
