Painting Eyes in figure kits

Hello i didn't find any tut on how to paint the eyes of a figure model kit, i have a new resin (Sumeragi Lee Noriega) . Does anyone knows how can i paint the eyes?

=) what are you using? airbrush or by hand?

I'd recommend getting in there with a very fine brush.

First, paint the white cornea part, let that dry. Next you could outline the iris in pencil to minimize possible mistakes. After that it depends which way you want to go; in Gundam 00's art style there's the dark outline to the iris, so depending what's easier for you you can either paint the iris in black for the outline and pupil, and add the iris color afterward, or paint the iris's brown shades and add the pupil and outline afterward. The last step in either case is to add the white shine spot on the eye (establishing the same position for each eye, of course).

P.S. Ah, I forgot about eyelashes and eyebrows, lol. Guess you might wanna paint those before the irises too.

i thought maybe there's a water decal sheet for different kind of eyes...... is there any??? anyone knows?

hlj.com had a set of eye decals a long time ago(late 90's). Not sure if they are selling them anymore due to the significantly smaller resin kit figure market.
