E3 sucks. Though I'm usually more into Setpember's TGS!
I wasn't too impressed this year to be honest. Watchdog, new Tomb Raider reboot and only a handful of others looked decent to me. I can't see ever trying the Wii U thing. An Ipad for a controller seems disasterous with young ones and still looks too much like a gimick. Zombii U trailer looked neat though.

Majority of e3 sucked, but it was saved by ubisoft and sony. (lolWiiU..)

Well my mom bought me some 1/144 kits (all from gundam x) back when gundam x was still airing in the 90's.
I didn't even use proper tools so I just yanked the parts out like the 5 year old that I was. I can't really remember if airmaster or gundam x was my first one, but the kits always had crooked stickers and bad fittings because I didn't trim down the nubs. Though I can't say I didn't enjoy it. Then I watched some 00 and got back to the hobby (somewhat) this time with proper tools.
If you want to start painting start with a 1/144 hg or a 1/100 ng since they have less parts to work with and they're cheaper than rg, mg or pg. (in case you mess up)
