Group Build's Nice 'n Pretty Page

Post if you're interested! All are welcome.

Rough time frame: End of the summer-End of the year (We're flexible, haha)
Update as of Oct 2nd - Obviously end of summer didn't work... Honestly I wouldn't mind keeping this going until everyone finished what they came here to start on... At least, I'm not about to consider it "done" for quite a few more months. Point being, no pressure.

List of participants is now maintained solely on the website.

I'm currently working on 2 HG 1/144 kits, one other I have to start on and 2-3 others that I have yet to order

so yes, I should be able to join the groupbuild

I'll do two:

a 1/100 Overflag (customed to my tastes)
and a 1/100 Astrea type F when it comes out.

I'll join. I havn't done a group build or a contest since mid last year.

Glad we've got some interest. Truth be told I really, really want to make an Exia but The other part of me says that they'll come out with an MG before the second season, haha.

My tentative order is this: Overflag, Nadleeh, Kyrios, Dynames, Exia. I'll basically try to get as many done as I can...

ill do this too, my only problem is dealing with my kitten who likes to steal parts and hide them from me.
but my new plan is working for that problem so far. put me in for 1/100 hg astraea.

What is a group build?

However i will join sounds quite interesting...I have 2 1/144 thrones here :Zwei / Eins and i plan to get the third throne.

Mindless, were you planning on modding an Overflag into this or are you working under the assumption that a model would come out? I would love to do a mod myself personally but as of now really don't think enough reference material exists.

A group build is essentially a bunch of people joining together for the sake of motivation to build either the same kits or kits with a common theme. Glad to have you on board!

<~~~~~ also sucks @ deadlines, but I'm down for this group build. I bought the Exia for a future project waaaay down the road. Guess this will give me incentive to start sooner

I suppose I'll have to tell what I'm gonna build:

nearly finished, so I guess these 2 won't be able to be part of the GB:
-Astraea 1/144
-Kyrios 1/144

the following 3 can be part of the GB:
-Tieren Space MP 1/144
-Tieren Space Commander 1/144
-Nadleeh 1/144

if they are releasing any other Tierens in 1/144, I'll try to use them as well for the group build

Modifying an Overflag. Waiting for an actual kit could take months or years, building one is a matter of weeks.

As for reference material, I like to use my imagination. I'll take what I can from the show, the rest I'll design as I want it to look.
