How to Use This Section

This section helps keep a log for the time you are in and the time you leave.

This way other members will get an idea when you are available if they would like to chat.

The log will also indicates that you are current in there so anyone who would like to chat with you will go in as well. It helps to bring more people in.

*Please note that the chat room will disconnect if you remain inactive for a while. But it will seem like you are still logged in. So be sure to check your own status if you remained inactive for a while in the room.

The current chat room uses java. So please go here to download the necessay plug-in for your system and browser.

I am not sure that this makes sence to post everytime your in there.

We should have some kinda list that just says were in there.

Becuz what if people forget and stuff. PLus I don't think anyone comes here to see whos in I think they just go in to see.


Just a waste of posts. Just my opition.

Umm.. im not sure if this is the place to post, but whenever i try to log on, i get a grey screen w/ the java icon and it says loading applet but after waiting a while nothing happens, any suggestions?

Edit: Sorry, disregard and delete this, didnt notice it way only 7 pm here. 10 pm over here. Again, very sorry. :doh:

Actually, it seems [][][] already has java installed, otherwise the familiar grey area won't be visible.

[][][], are you on a slow link? the java client is quite large for dialup users :(

Well, i got cable modem, but its not a very fast connection. I figured out the prob that it was it was only 7pm there and the thing doesnt open till 9pm. Id have to wait till like almost 1pm to get on with my time zone (too late for me).

ah yes, 9:00 PM est US can be difficult for europe however we sometimes join our UK and French friends much earlier in the day :)

But i dont live in Europe, Im Michigan U.S, it said 7pm for my post time, but i posted past 10, so i figured hobbyfan time wasnt U.S.

Man... still chat doesnt work, freezes faster tho! :lol: But doesnt work, can I ask you guys what your Java settings are, maybe I need to change somehitng.

....but Im afraid the only time I can get online mostly is at school
